Sew & Tell Saturday 8/10/2013

Welcome to Sew & Tell Saturday!
Sorry if you stopped by last week to find no party.
I've been having a terrible sewists block the last few weeks! So I took a little break. When every project ends in disaster with endless ripped out seams, sometimes it's best to step away, take a little break and recharge.
However, I have a few other projects I did post these past two weeks:
Including the last thing I finished before my block, a knit maxidress

So let's see what you have been up to!
But first, here are a few featured sewists from the last link up.

Sailor Shorts with piping at Sugar Tart Crafts

Silky wedding Guest Dress at Four Square Walls

Swing Coat by Pienkel.

  1. Ugh! I have no sewing projects this week :( I finished a lot but photographed none, and did some pattern testing :) oh, I did design a little entry for the contest at NapTime Crafters. It probably won't get chosen, but I'm hoping someone will see it & do a tutorial on how to change an existing shorts pattern. It's got deconstructed zippers, I love those right now. Well, I'll be back later to check out links. Off to visit your features!

  3. Hi Justine, Thanks so much for sharing my sailor shorts this week! I know exactly what you mean about projects all going wrong, but I sure hope your break has helped you kick that sewing "funk"!
