A Giveaway and Sew& Tell Saturday

Welcome to Sew & Tell Saturday!

Today I have something extra for y'all. A giveaway!
My new blog friend Janelle from Emmaline Bags designs some lovely bag patterns and handmade bags. She has graciously offered to give one of her PDF bag patterns away to the winner of this giveaway!
The Emmaline Bag, one of my favorites designs.

You, as a winner, can choose which PDF pattern  you would like! They are all really cute.

Emmaline Bags are a collection of unique, 100% handmade, handbags, purses and bag patterns created in Queensland, Australia by  Janelle MacKay.
From Janelle herself:
"With many years of sewing, crafting and creating experience, I'm finally realising my dream of creating new handbags out of gorgeous eye-catching fabrics.  Every piece of fabric I choose is just begging to be made into something beautiful.  The fun is figuring out what it's going to be! "
Janelle's patterns are available as PDF patterns or instant downloads via her shop at Emmaline Bags where she also sells her lovely purses if you don't feel up to making one yourself.

Now On To Sew & Tell Saturday...
If you have ever been featured here I have made a new featured button on my sidebar. Feel free to post it if you like posting those little featured buttons.

Here the three featured projects from last week.

This week it's all about little girls!

An totally original ensemble designed by Karen at Montana Chic for her little girl. She even created the hand painted polka dots on the coat and purse and the  argyle print on the tights. So creative!

This cute sundress at Threading My Way started its life off as a cast off ladies dress and an old buttoned ladies shirt. Visit Pam's blog to see how she created this refashion.

I love vintage styles on little girls and my huge vintage pattern collection can attest to that! Sweet Sorot Veasman designed and made this gorgeous dress inspired by the fifties.

  12. Hey Justine, I can't view your entire blog with the new layout. It's too wide (and I have a very up to date Mac Powerbook). I'm guessing unless you have a widescreen monitor, the majority of viewers are going to have the same problem. Maybe you can lower the width pixels in your template?

Don't enter me in the giveaway please...I'm so behind on projects I'll never catch up! haha! Someday soon I'm going to have a Sew & Tell Saturday entry though! (I don't have FB either.)
