Thanks for stopping by Sew Country Chick!
No sewing projects today but I promise there will be plenty next week. For now have a take a look around my yard! It's been a beautiful last few days here in California.
Out in the garden.
Two of our seven hens.
A Mosaic pot I made about fifteen years ago with my stepdaughter when she was little. It's gotten pretty weathered.
My antique iron bed on the porch. I bought it in Isle Sur la Sorgue, France. Unfortunately the dogs have taken it over..
Another view of our front porch. Those old bistro chairs are from a restaurant in France and the chicken was made by a local artist.
I love this old shed in the backyard.
An old washbasin that was here since before we moved here.
The fire pit where we spend a lot of time on warm summer nights. You can see so many stars.
Well, that's it for today! I hope you stop by tomorrow to post your sewing projects and have a nice weekend.
I really, really love your porch. The iron bed, the bistro chairs- such a great set. Thank you for the very nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great yard and porch, country living at it's finest! I am loving this warm weather.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. I guess I need to take some of our yard. The porch is a mess! That is hubby's domain, and the table out there is full! And then some. I love all the old bowls and pots. I do have a chamber pot that is white with red trip. I got it from my mother. I also have a glass picture and bowl for washing up. I would love to have one like you have. More durable.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful :) :) Lovely...and I just adored the one of your little child and the dogs enjoying time out on the grass :) Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
