Hello lovely readers!
I just wanted to touch base with those of you who were participating in my Design It Yourself Clothes Draft Along in December. I took a little break during the holidays and am ready to get back to it!
It's funny how creativity ebbs and flows. I think last fall was a really productive time for me creatively. I made so many projects, and did a lot of my own designs. I honestly feel a little tired from all that frenetic activity. I am happy to take things a little slower!
I finished my t shirt, my button down shirt, and my A line skirt. I still have the pants pattern and the basic dress pattern to make.
Next Friday I will be making the next pattern, The basic pant.

Hi Justine :) Good to see the draft along series coming back.. I will be drafting all of them.. Taking things slower .. From planning , purchasing ,drafting , sewing and posting :D But will surely finish drafting all the patterns form the book .. M curious with the results!
ReplyDeleteYea! I finally fixed the last big mistake on my button-down today (the collar was too short), so I'm ready for the next project. I even got some fabric at a New Year's sale for my dress later on. I'm so glad you are picking this back up, and the timing has been perfect (at least for me). Thanks for doing this. It holds me accountable. :)
