Welcome to my first installment of my new fabric craft and sewing linkup Sew N Tell Saturday! I'm so glad you stopped by! Please feel free to post as many sewing and fabric related crafts from your blogs as you would like. Please visit someone else posting and post a comment for them as this is such a good way to meet new bloggers.
Also if you don't mind posting my button on your sites here is my code:
Posting my button will help my little party grow but it's not necessary. I hope this can be a supportive environment for designers, sewists, and crafters.
Take a look around here and if you like my blog you are invited to follow it and I will try to follow you back too!
Remember to post your specific blog post , not a link to your blog's home page. If you link to the homepage, it won't work.
My project for today is a Thanksgiving turkey softie project you make by tracing your child's hand.
I found the original tutorial at Bella Dia.Please click on over to her beautiful site for her detailed, wonderful tutorial! Next week I will have a vintage dress I have been working on.
It was a little harder to do this project than I thought and I ended up doing the majority of the work as my 8 year old wandered off and you can forget about my 2 year old, but now I have a nice memory of my little ones hands to look at every Thanksgiving! It seems I am always trying these crafty projects with my kids but then I end up doing all the work! Can someone please tell me the secret to keeping kids interested?!
So now it's time to post your own projects! Don't forget to visit someone else!
Thanks for inviting me over to your first Saturday Sew and Tell; how exciting. Love your blog and the idea of a Link Party that's sewing and fabric. I'm about to link up and am now following.

Thanks for inviting me to your party, I do love a good party! Especially sewing-involved!!! I'll put you in my linky party blog roll so I know when it's time to link each week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for inviting me to share in your linky party. I love your blog and know that I will check back regularly.
ReplyDeleteThank you for hosting! I can't wait to see all the great projects!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason all the links can't be seen on the page, perhaps due to the width of the post (you will see how the links on the right side are cut off and the next one is missing).
ReplyDeleteThanks for having me over. :o) How fun!
ReplyDeleteJust a little reminder, you are set to no reply on blogger, so I was unable to respond to your email. Here is a little link to change all that : http://www.pleasant-home.com/2010/12/so-exciting-less-no-reply-bloggers.html
Have a wonderful day!! :o)
Sincerely, Trish

ReplyDeleteSo, I'm a little late to the party....it's almost midnight...what a day, teaching a community art class, taking down a holiday bazaar, attending my sisters bridal shower, grocery shopping, etc. I'm exhausted. WheW!
ReplyDeleteTHank you for the kind invite. I'm sure I'll be back soon, hopefully next time it will be a little earlier.

ReplyDeleteI'm a few days late to this party! I love this idea! Could someone please tell me how to link only to the specific page that is displaying your project instead of the whole blog. I'm sure it's very simple, but I just want to make sure I get it right.
