Giveaway: Burdastyle Pattern Magazine 6/2011

Today's giveaway is for my June 2011 edition of Burdastyle Magazine. As you can see there are lots of patterns : ladies, ladies plus sizes and kids. Burdastyle plus patterns are always very fashion forward.   There is also a whole section dedicated to creating the Bridgette Bardot look . The children's patterns in this issue are also very wearable and cute. Craft projects are included as well. You can make a whole wardrobe just from the patterns in this magazine! I have leafed through this magazine but haven't used any of the patterns. I just have too many other projects planned and don't think I'll ever get to it. You pattern collectors know how that goes, right?
Burdastyle Magazine isn't available at any newsstands in the So. California area and I have to have mine sent from Europe so you can't just rush down to Joanne's for this magazine if you are in the US!
Here are the entry rules:
Mandatory: Leave a comment this post with your e-mail . If you know where to buy Burdastyle magazine in the US let me know. Subscriptions are expensive!
Extra votes:
1. Follow my blog.
2. Like Sew Country Chick on FB.

Summer looks.

Check out the Anna Molinari pattern in leopard above.

Resort and evening looks.

Plus size patterns that are actually fashionable! Yay for Burda!.

  15. I get my Burdastyle at a store called Haberman Fabrics here in Michigan. It is a fabulous privately owned store. You can find it online. I don't know if you can get the magazine from them, but I know that you can order fabulous fabrics and notions. I follow you and have become a fan of your blog. bonehead327@comcast.net

  20. I can't say I'll be any more likely to make these clothes any sooner than you, but I do like to have the option. :) If anyone is interested in winning a vintage pattern with four yards of fabric, they're welcome to come over to my blog too. http://theseekspeak.blogspot.com

  21. I think just leaving a comment leaves my email address, correct? Also, I already follow your blog. :) Do you need me to follow it using blogger? Because I do so in Google Reader.

As for Burdastyle, SIGH! I used to see and purchase it as Borders. B&N is great, but my local one does not offer a wide sewing magazine range. I'm looking for one that does.

  22. If you think it is hard in the US you should try Australia!!! I love the mag but actually missed this edition. I think it is the best magazine published but i sometimes feel for begining sewers as the instructions can be brief. I have just found your blog when looking for a pencil skirt pattern to draft. It looks wonderful and I will try it out on my daughter for work this week. Thankyou for such an interesting and fun blog.

  23. I've never seen this magazine before! I'd love to win this. My sister is 7 months pregnant and needs some fancy clothes to wear through the holidays, some of those loose dresses could be easily adapted to accommodate her growing belly.

  27. I have no idea where to get the magazine. Apparently it's available somewhere near where I live (Vancouver, BC), but I haven't been able to track it down! I've been wanting to check it out for quite a while.

  28. How fun! I've always wanted to just browse a magazine, but even shelling out $15-20 plus shipping is just too much for me to order one sight unseen!

    Thanks for the giveaway!!

  35. I would love to win this copy. I usually buy Burda magazine (in Spanish) whenever I visit my Mom in Mexico however they are almost 2 seasons behind. Wish I could find an affordable subscription to Patrones as well. This is a great give away, thank you for the chance to win

  38. I'd love to win! Spring and Summer issues of Burda are my favorite. I've never found them locally although I've heard some metropolitan B&N's carry it. I have ordered 3 month subscriptions in the past though which makes the price less daunting.
