Today I am giving away the PDF pattern to one of you lovely readers!
The quilting and hand sewn prick stitches along the edges were my own addition to the design. The pattern itself is very easy to use and well written. It's a simple download that you can print out and tape together. There was a good explanation with photos on how to attach the turnkey clasp, a technique that I had never tried. But it's not very hard to do and gives the bag such a professional finish.
This was just some cheap vinyl I had bought a long time ago. I have some really beautiful chartreuse leather that I want to quilt, and I could not find any information on the internet on how to quilt leather so I came up with my own technique.
I wanted to practice on the vinyl first, and I like the way the quilting looks, although I'm not sure about the hand done top stitching.
I'll be sharing the tutorial for quilting leather this week .
