Halloween has come and gone and I still haven't uploaded my kids costume pictures! What a terrible blogger I am. I could have gotten a few posts out of them too!
Our oldest daughter has been holed up in her apartment in New York with no power since the storm there. Her power just came on tonight.
Thank God she is OK.
Ok, I went and uploaded a couple of photos just now to share.
I bring you my kids in their costumes.
Explorer extraordinaire, girl ninja, Goth anti social high school girl, and our garden gnome!
Here are the features from last week:
DIY Kitty costume by Jamie at Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom. Meow!
A lovely and very ladylike dress by Elizabeth at Simple Simon & Co.
An embroidered skull perfect for All Souls Day, also known as Day Of The Dead, November 1. Made by Liz at Howling At The Moon.
I do want to mention that my Pattern Drafting Sew Along is starting on Tuesday. I put up my intro yesterday here.
Enjoy your post Halloween madness weekend and get some rest, why don't you?

ReplyDeleteI'm glad your daughter is ok. My Mom is in Brooklyn and my sister and her family are out east on Long Island. They are all fine. Thank goodness! Still haven't heard from some of my friends from school and some of my friends lost everything :-(
ReplyDeleteCute costumes for your family!!! Love them.
