My version of the drape front sweater. They have been in all the shops for a few months now. I wanted to make one but couldn't find a pattern so I figured out how to make one without a pattern. Here is how:
Oh, very cute! I picked up one at Ross, one of those really cheap-fabric $5 tops they have there, just to take it apart and see what they did. Then I had a V-8 moment when I realized I just needed to extend the front!! lol Great job on your sweater!
This looks like a fun project. I have a piece of red knit that would be perfect for the sweater. Thanks for sharing the instructions. Saw your project on Craft Gossip.
I can also see this as a waistcoat without the sleeves, it would take less material, so you can pop different coloured tops underneath. Fabby idea thanks for sharing.
Don't be shy! Your comments are really appreciated and fun for me to read! If you have a question I usually respond via e- mail which is easier for me, being a busy mom. Please don't leave anonymous comments, instead just put your name in the Name/ URL box if you don't have an account. Thanks.
