If so, what color is it in? Any help would be super appreciated! I suppose I'll guess at it, but thought I'd check first. :) if nothing else, how many inches from the hem seam are they placed?
Also, do you remember how many inches you took off? I too, have made several japanese patterns all with larger than expected results. I've made XS and size 6 and have taken off several inches each time to get to my size.
I do appreciate any insight you have around the pocket placement. Thanks a bunch!

Jenn Bontrager
317-379-3319
RyanandJennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05142675910153541141noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-149664287965616549.post-91777887263065234532013-05-29T19:37:56.440-07:002013-05-29T19:37:56.440-07:00One more ;)

The elastic with 2 pleats in front is so pretty and the elastic in back helps it look a little less tent-like. I even added ties in the back to help with this. It's adorable with leggings.

Merci beaucoup! I've been looking at the patterns but hesitating to make one because of that; I'm worried the outfits will look shapeless and odd on me! I love your idea of adding elastic to the back to shape the tunic tough, it looks so great like that.
Thanks for sharing, this is building up my confidence to give this book a go :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-149664287965616549.post-50855253775287525542013-01-07T15:18:48.683-08:002013-01-07T15:18:48.683-08:00That is a gorgeous dress, I want one!
